Being a fan of Duffy and Amy Winehouse, the first time I heard "Sweet About Me" I instantly liked it. I thought her voice was unassumingly sexy!
When I heard it again while writing this post, I kept thinking of Fifty Shades of Grey –-I think it’s the lyrics. Or maybe just me. Anyways, "Sweet About Me" is the second single by Australian singer-songwriter Gabriella Cilmi from her debut album, Lessons to Be Learned (2008).

"If there's lessons to be learned
I'd rather get my jamming words in first
So tell you something that I've found
That the world’s a better place when it's upside down, boy"
