♫ All Sounds Christmas ♫

A bunch of festive tunes to add to your playlist this season. I've also added links to their lyrics coz getting the lyrics wrong can be a bit embarrassing. More so if you've been corrected by an 8yr old.

It's amazing how one's life, however bruised and tattered, can be sewn together by the acts of sheer courage and simple kindness -- towards others, (and more importantly) towards oneself -- which ultimately designs the majesty of one's poignant life, regardless of how tumultuous or obscure; coz the silent storms and screeching obscurities are what stain the threads we're woven of. They make us us.

Even though most of us don’t get the opportunity to dine in the cafés of Madrid or dance in the clubs of Havana, it is possible to experience a sense of that cultural vibe wherever we are, through music. A few notes can transport you to another place, another time.

#oldschoolrock | Skid Row

Tuesday, January 06, 2015 Of Minds & Mixtapes | Zaheera 0 Comments

Skid Row is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1986 in New Jersey. Lead singer Sebastian Bach is perfect with his vocals, and their rasp and violent solo guitar riffs fit well with the late 80s metal making it one of the most successful songs of the band. Plus, they had something extra -- a flick of the wrist, a flip of the hair, a cracked smile, and a gleam in the eye.
