Skid Row is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1986 in New Jersey. Lead singer Sebastian Bach is perfect with his vocals, and their rasp and violent solo guitar riffs fit well with the late 80s metal making it one of the most successful songs of the band. Plus, they had something extra -- a flick of the wrist, a flip of the hair, a cracked smile, and a gleam in the eye.

Oh this is not a song one can easily tire of. I grew up listening to this guy, and I think it’s impossible to not become a fan of Billy Joel. This upbeat yet mellow track was released in the early 90s and peaked at the #1 position on numerous charts around the world.
"River of Dreams" is about the rather familiar quest of life we all undergo; the slightly daunting feeling in the pursuit of whatever we desire, the pursuit of even a chance of fulfilment. It is about searching for something within ourselves that may have shined in the past and may have dulled or faded over the years -- a purity, an energy, an idea.

Billy Joel is one of the best selling artists of all time with more than 150 million records sold worldwide, and is also a six-time Grammy Award winner who has been nominated for 23 Grammy Awards throughout his career. Joel offers plenty to get excited about, particularly his candid and thoughtful lyrics, and of course his gently rolling melody. Here are some of his songs that I love:
